honeymoon-Utah

On our wedding night we stayed in a cute cozy bed and breakfast called SnowBerry Inn in Eden Ut by Huntsville.http://www.snowberryinn.com/alaskan.htm we stayed in the Monte Cristo room. The next day we traveled to Coalville Utah in which we stayed in a cute little cabin. We traveled all over Utah a few days out of the week. It was a very memorable honeymoon.  One day we went to the Draper Temple, we did a endowment session and than went to Ikea(Oh wow i love that store). Another day we went to Salt lake City and did some shopping, went to see the Joseph Smith movie, looked around temple square and than went out to dinner at red lobster where i met Elder Richard G Scott. We left on that Thursday to come home and cause i had to take pics of the cabin i was coming down the stairs(they were very narrow and steep) I fell down the stairs and Kasey was at the bottom but he couldn't do anything but watch me fall as they were to narrow, he felt so bad but i was ok just a little bumps and bruises.

The one w Jenn at the ER

so on April 4th i was in so much pain i had Kasey take me to the Er at Saint Als. I was there all night and morning. I had a cat-scan and ultra sound. Results came back i had a hernia in my diaphragm and gallbladder stones. We searched for a surgeon and on April 11th i was in the OR having surgery to fix my diaphragm. It was the most important. I stayed in the hospital 4 days, bluh.. I am so thankful for all the amazing prayers and people who came to see me called and etc. So thankful for my in laws for fasting for me and so much more. Surgery went well and i am healing nicely. Went to my post opp yesterday and Dr seemed pleased. In June is when i will have my next surgery to take out my gallbladder. Most of all i am so thankful for my sweet husband Kasey who took such good care of me(his love and devotion), we learned so much patients by this as i whined a lot, ok i was in lots of pain, I had 5 incisions, :).

A special thank you to Jennifer Buhler, Rachel Thacker,Kelli Mohrmann, Jaymalee Johnson, Camie Jordan and Janice Hendry. Camie Jordan made the cutest cake and Janice punch was awesome, later i will post the recipe for it.

Banana Trifle

Banana Trifle

1(3.4-ounce) Box of instant banana pudding mix
1 cup cold water
1(14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 small carton of frozen whip topping(like cool whip)
Vanilla Wafers
half a loaf pound cake(store bought or homemade)
2 large bananas sliced

In a Medium bowl, combine pudding mix, cold water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well and place in the refrigerator for a few mins. Thaw frozen topping and fold in 1 cup of whip topping into the pudding mix and return to the fridge.Cut the pound cake into cubes. You can use a trifle dish or a glass bowl. Begin layering w first your pound cake, make an even layer across the bottom. Than layer half of your pudding mix on top of that. Slice your banana(thin OR thick) I did mine thin. make an even layer of banana slices on top of pudding mix. Than use half of the remaining whip topping and layer evenly on top of bananas. Take a few handfuls of vanilla wafers and crumble in your hand on top of whip topping. Repeat layers using the rest of the pound cake, pudding, bananas and whip topping. than crumble more of the wafers on the top.You can use more of less of anything you want to your liking.
